Repurposing Waste Teak into a Custom Handrail

Identified an opportunity to reuse valuable teak wood during construction and converted the material into a custom handrail. I used Revit to develop the design, coordinated with project stakeholders and fabricators, and helped deliver a solution that reduced waste while generating substantial cost savings.

Prevent high-value teak wood from being discarded while creating a functional architectural element that met design, constructability, quality, and budget requirements.

Managed design and execution coordination, including material reuse planning, Revit modeling, stakeholder communication, constructability review, fabrication coordination, and installation support.

Generative-AI Tool for Architectural Visualization

Built a generative-AI visualization workflow as a final project for a Stanford course taught by Professor Iro Armeni. The project explored how AI could enhance architectural and construction visualization while preserving important spatial and design information.

Problem

Traditional visualization workflows can require substantial modeling, rendering, and post-production time. The project explored whether generative AI could accelerate visual experimentation without losing the underlying design intent.

My Contribution

Designed and tested the workflow, evaluated model outputs, documented limitations, and helped convert the technical process into a usable project demonstration.
